Junior counselors should have a desire to work with girls in a Christian, counselor-in-training capacity. They must be a rising senior in High School and are responsible to the Camp Directors, Assistant Directors, Head Counselors, and Senior Counselors. A Junior Counselor is required to work 2 sessions totaling 4 weeks and attend orientation at the beginning of the summer. She will assist a Senior Counselor in instructing five activities a day. This means active participation and supervision in an activity that encourages the campers to have fun, learn and grow in God, Relationships and Self. A Junior Counselor will also assist the camp administration in any way possible to provide campers with a safe and enjoyable camping experience.
All Junior Counselor spots have been filled. Any applicants moving forward will be added to a waitlist.
